Visiting Class for Junior High School Students "Occupational Choice and Professional Ethics"

We held a class on "Occupational Choice and Professional Ethics" for third-year junior high school students at Iwasawa Gakuin in Kawasaki City, as part of their career guidance.

In this class, we talked about the relationship between occupation and ethics in a way that junior high school students could easily understand.

Two Lawyers from Law Firm in India Visit

Dr. Ramesh Kalpathy Vaidyanathan, Principal Attorney at BTG Advaya, an Indian law firm specializing in the field of aviation law, and Dr. Surchi Kotky visited our Tokyo office for a courtesy call on our Firm.

We asked them about India's geopolitical position, the distance from Russia sanctions in various countries, and the latest situation of personal data protection legislation in India. He also talked about QUAD and the importance of various economic exchanges and cooperation between Japan and India, and we renewed our recognition that future exchanges between Japan and India are extremely important for realizing a "Free and Open Indo-Pacific" and the need to further expand and deepen economic exchanges between Japan and India.

In this context, we shared the recognition that BTG Advaya and our firm will further promote collaboration between the two firms and further strengthen the response capabilities, information exchange, and cooperation between the two firms for the benefit of the firm's corporate clients who are advancing into India.

Our firm's staff participated in a training course on the handling of firearms

Two staff members of our firm participated in a training course on the handling of firearms in Bangkok, Thailand, conducted by staff members of the National Police Agency's Crime Suppression Department and others.

The training was designed to learn how to properly manage small arms (rifles, pistols, shotguns, etc.), prevent theft and illegal distribution, and safely handle them.


July 11 - 12, 2023

Our firm's staff participated in a training course on radiation control at Ibaraki Quantum Beam Research Center

One staff member from our firm's Tokyo Office participated in a training course on radiation control at the Ibaraki Quantum Beam Research Center in Tokai-mura, Ibaraki Prefecture.

The training was on radiation control and measurement, and included a practice session on locating radioactive materials using a GM counter.


July 6 - July 7, 2023

Our firm's staff participated in training on chemical protection

From July 6 to July 7, 2023, one staff member of our firm's Osaka Office participated in a two-day training course on chemical protection conducted by professors from the Research Center for Chemical Information and Management, a government organization, in Osaka Prefecture.

The training was on chemical substance management and chemical protection, and included practical training using actual gas masks and gas detectors.


July 6, 2023

Our firm's staff participated in a training course on nuclear fuel organized by Japan Atomic Power Company.

One staff member from our Tokyo Office participated in a training course on nuclear fuel organized by Japan Atomic Power Company (JAPC) in Tsuruga City, Fukui Prefecture, Japan.

The training covered the nuclear fuel cycle from uranium ore mining to post-use treatment and disposal, as well as important safeguards for handling nuclear fuel and transportation and storage of spent fuel.

Our firm's staff participated in a training course on chemical analysis

Three staff members of our firm participated in a training course on ICP-MS (Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry) at the Osaka Research Institute of Industrial Science and Technology.

The training was designed to learn the determination methods of trace metal elements in various matrices such as water, metals, and ceramics, as well as the practical application and latest technology of ICP mass spectrometry. The demonstration using the mass spectrometer owned by the Osaka Research Institute of Industrial Science and Technology was also held.


April 17 - 18, 2023

Our firm's staff participated in a training course on chemical protection

One staff member of our firm's Tokyo Office participated in a two-day training course on chemical protection conducted in Tokyo from April 17 to 18, 2023, with lecturers from the Chemical Information Management Research Center of the Japan Industrial Safety and Health Organization (JISHO).

This training was on chemical substance management and chemical protection, and included practical training using actual gas masks and gas detectors.


March 29, 2023 

Our firm's representative partner's course "PSE for Manufacturers and Importers of Electrical Appliances and Materials."

In order to raise awareness of product safety, we explained how to comply with the Electrical Appliance and Material Safety Law and how to test products to various professors from other professions. Also, we brought the actual testing equipment to Mimura Yuichi Tax Accountant Office in Harajuku, where we conducted a full inspection of DC power supply equipment.

Our firm's staff participated in a training course on radiation control organized by the Nuclear Safety Technology Center

One staff member of our firm's Osaka Test Lab participated in a two-day training course on radiation control organized by the Nuclear Safety Technology Center of Japan in Osaka, from March 27 to 28, 2023.

The training included the safety management methods of radioisotopes and practical dosimetry using an actual radiation source.

Two of our firm's staff members participated in a training course on live wire operations hosted by the Japan Electric Association in Tokyo. The training was designed to teach safety management methods and measures against electric shock in electrical work.

Our firm's staff participated in a training course on electrical work sponsored by the Safety and Health Management Association of Japan

One staff member of our firm's Tokyo Office participated in a two-day training course on electrical work organized by the Safety and Health Management Association of Japan in Ota-ku, Tokyo, from January 18 to January 19, 2023.

The training consisted of lectures and case studies on safety management methods and countermeasures against electric shock in electrical work, as well as practical training on electrical work under live wire conditions.


December 5 - 6, 2022

Our firm's staff participated in occupational health and safety training hosted by Japan Atomic Power Company, Inc.

From December 5 to 6, 2022, a staff member of our firm's Kansai Head Office participated in occupational safety and health training organized by Japan Atomic Power Company (JAPC) in Tsuruga City, Fukui Prefecture.

The training consisted of lectures and exercises on safety management methods at nuclear power plants and other workplaces, and included simulated hazards.

Our Firm's Representative Lecture, "Legal Reforms on Economic Security and Their Impact on Corporate Legal Affairs

In order to raise awareness of economic security, we gave a lecture to various professionals (labor and social security attorneys, tax accountants, barristers, patent attorneys, etc.) on the trends of the Law on the Promotion of Economic Security, the recently enacted and revised Foreign Exchange and Foreign Trade Law (clarification of deemed export control, Russian sanctions), the Law on Regulation of Survey of Important Land, etc., and the relationship between human rights DD and economic security.

Visit from Colonel, Eastern Army H.Q., JGSDF (Japanese Army)

We explained about our firm's economic security, security trade control, information security measures, and rule-making strategies, as well as our training system to the JGSDF officers who visited our firm.

Colonel Haraguchi, who has held various important positions such as Commander of the 5th Tank Battalion and Commander of the Shikaoi Camp, provided us with various information and insights on defense administration.

We also agreed to continue long-term communication between the Eastern Army H.Q. and our firm to promote cooperation.

Class "Economic Security" for High School Students

A class on economic security was held at Iwasawa Gakuin in Kawasaki City for students in their first through third year of high school.

With the establishment of the post of Minister of State for Economic Security in the cabinet inaugurated this month, the emphasis on economic security is gaining momentum in Japan.

Our firm provides consulting services on economic security, including security trade control based on Japan's Foreign Exchange and Foreign Trade Act and the U.S. Export Administration Regulation, as well as countermeasures against information leaks and industrial espionage.

Purpose of the visit: To educate the participants on the current status of smart agriculture utilizing AI and ICT and the efforts of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, and to deepen their understanding of smart agriculture through observation of automated farm machines and development machines, etc.
